The Irinjalakuda Social Welfare Co-Operative Society Ltd. No.R 1327 (ISWCS) has registered as a co-operative society on 16-11-2011 under Kerala Co-Operative Society Act 1969 and started functioning on 24-11-2011.

Area of the operation of the society is Mukundapuram, Chalakudy Taluk, Thrissur Dist. The society implements all the available modern banking facilities to help its customers at the maximum. The society offers a fully-fledged range of banking services like loans, deposits, MDS etc.

Office of the registrar of co-operative societies, Govt. of Kerala, Trivandrum is the Apex body which controls and monitors the co-operative sector in Kerala. The Apex body issues circulars from time to time which is implemented and followed in the co-operative sector. Apex body decides the rate of interest for deposits and advances, types of deposits and advances, Recovery of loans, security measures.
